“Enjoyable The Jack Rusell ale quaffable food excellent”

“Stayed one night. The Hatchet is a lovely old thatched building with the rooms is a small thatched side house. . The bedroom was comfortable although the bed is really high, I m sure some people may need a step to get on. Once on the bed a really comfortable mattress. The shower / bathroom / toilet room was clean. A wonderfully powerful shower. In fact be careful it was so powerful that the shower head shot horizontally and wet the floor outside the shower cubicle. The full english breakfast was well cooked and tasty. The young lady that served me in the bar in the evening and the chef serving breakfast were very friendly. However the young lady who welcomed us was a little grumpy and seemed to resent us asking what the room number was when we were given the key [it was in fact on the key, but my eyesight was not good enough to see]. Overall, a lovely place for an overnight stay.”

“There's not much to say. I stayed twice and it was always clean and tidy. It's in the heart of Andover, if that's where you want to stay. Staff at the reception are friendly and very helpful. I didn't have breakfast at this hotel, so cannot comment on that ”

“The place is pleasant and has a lot of potential, although it would benefit from some investment. It is clean and has a nice atmosphere. The staff are very friendly, the food is good, and it’s not too loud. The prices for the accommodation are reasonable. If I’m in the area again, I will definitely consider this place.”
