“We usually stay in the Bailey rooms but this time we were in the main old Inn. There were only 2 plug sockets nowhere near useful places. There was no storage and no safe. We liked the free water bottles and tea and coffee making facilities which were replenished daily. There is now no bar/coffee srvice until 5 in afternoon. The hotel is handy when we visit relatives in Amersham.”

“Staff not that helpful apparently you have to book some foods 24hrs before. Failed to inform us about booking Eve meal the following day, residents take 2nd place over locals. There are a lot of nice restaurants around the location . Mattress and its cover had stains on one of its edges ( left side as you look at it ) Breakfast was not the same standard on the 2nd day, sausage not nice. Coffee v strong. Poached egg was watery first day was even more runnier the 2nd. Local shop owners were very nice and chatty. Hotel is nice & has a lot of history I’m glad I didn’t pay hotel price to but found a great price on a comparison site”

“Staff were great throughout - very welcoming and responsive. Nice to have the pub attached - locals were friendly! Rooms were a little small but there was internet TV and easy access to motorway. Old Amersham is very charming with tons of nice shops and good walks closeby. Next to a tescos and cheap petrol. Nice menu of meals at the pub too. Nice B and B !!”

“The rooms are clean, amenities basic but functional. Watch your head on the doorways! The actual pub is cool and good for a beer, excellent location close to Amersham old town. ”
