“The historic hotel is centrally located in Alton. The room was spacious, bright and clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast had a lot of options to order from but one could wait up to 30 minutes. I ordered chips at the restaurant, and they had an unpleasant smell and taste - as if they were fried in over-burnt oil. ”

“Booked a superior room for a single night stay. Excellent location for railway station and centre of town Hotel and room clean but tired and in need of a refresh. Silly things, when in bath shampoo and body was dispensers are out of reach and no soap provided. Bath waste chain broken, hand wash, body wash and shampoo dispensers all appeared to bee filled with the same content!”
