“Ideal place if you need somewhere within 10min easy walk to airport. US model style building, with modern and fresh interiors, and surprisingly quiet given location near busy roads. Great shower, fluffy towels and comfy beds, and the all important kettle for a proper brew, courtesy of the essential Yorkshire Tea in the suitcase... Great staff on reception, and v welcome breakfast buffet before the flight”

“Lovely room with comfy Queen size bed. All amenities inc tea and coffee making facilities. Gorgeous terrace are la for evening or breakfast. Very nearby to castle and row of local eateries and shops! Could not want anything else”

“If you want to find a good 5 star hotel near Cité de Carcassonne, it's Sowell Collection otel du Roi. It takes about 15 minutes walk to get there. I also love the fact that there is an indoor swimming pool so that I can relax and stretching after a long day walking. The room is clean, staff is friendly. Breakfast has various choice. Highly recommended.”

“We had some difficulties checking in but fortunately the Dutch couple in Unit C were able to help us, and eventually we got in communication with the property manager who came by and helped explain. If you are booking on Agoda as we did, be aware that for Maison Therese staff, they do not even know what Agoda is. The booking came to them via ***. So when they sent us info on how to check in, the code, etc., it went to us on *** (which we've never even used), and NOT Agoda! Their message to us basically went to the ether. Once we were in our place, though, it was divine. So nice to do laundry after a week in Barcelona. King bed, nice shower, and heated towel rack/clothes dryer. Very quiet and private, and a walk uphill behind the apartment to Carcassonne. The hot tub was SO nice to use; we sure needed that. The only thing that would have helped were instructions on how to move the hot tub cover off in English. We couldn't get it open all the way so sat in half of it, which still worked for our sore bodies. ”

“I would recommend this place. Very kind manager and all stuff. Rooms are well equipped. Everything looks quality, excetpt floor in the room. It drops the value -90%, but OK. What really disappointed us,- it was a restaurant and bereacfast. Can you imagine? In France, where is famous French kitchen they hired a Spanish Chef who make mostly BBQ and simple dishes. Sauces are fm cans.... Anothe category - Breakfast. They gave a magnificent name: " breakfast a la Cart" - unfortunately there's nothing fm exclusivity. They just reduce costs and serve you with exact quantity of food pp. I mean, if you are with 3 pers, you will get 3 slices of ham on a plate. Omlet - 7x7cm and that's it! Sure, we'll stay next time, but dinner and breakfast we'll find at other places. Ah, something else- windows in the room were not cleaned and it seems minimum half year..... Strange. And they ask abt **€ per standard room end of summer time! So, we had and positive and not pleasant experience.”
