“The lake view is a bit of false advertisement. The view was to an unsightly playground, and only if you stretched very far out of the window, were you able to see a tiny bit of the lake. I am surprised nobody else has not complained of this clearly falsely advertised feature. ”

“A bit old styled but then it had everything what a tourist or business traveller may need. Located right opposite main train station, walking distance to the city centre with various restaurant options. Breakfast is great. We found the hotel a good place to stay, very busy with tourists and business travellers. Staff at the reception are friendly, though would be great if breakfast staff can also learn to smile a bit rather than looking tired or not interested in the job. The hotel offers free snacks post 3pm which is great, though hot drinks are available 24hrs. The bathroom is very sleepery,so better wear slippers while taking shower 🚿,or risk injuring yourself. Overall a good place as We had a pleasant time visiting with some friends.”

“The location is exceptional with a view of the fjord from the main building. We stayed in one of the annexes which was uphill from the main building. It was conveniently connected to the main building via an elevator. The room was big and and modernly furnished. No AC available, but a fan in the cupboard allowed us to speed up the ventilation once the sun set. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast and dinner was exceptional. Dinner prices somewhat high, but good quality. Breakfast had everything you could expect and even offered bitter and other liquors., The views from the restaurant are stunning. ”
