“This may be a slightly biased review because Audo House has been on my bucket list for the longest time, and thankfully, the actual stay lived up to my expectations. However, I would not say the same about the check-in process. As my booking was made through Agoda, the third-party platform may have played a part in the timing of the communication between Audo House and me. It is also worth noting that Audo House is not a full-fledged hotel, so you should not expect the usual concierge or front-desk services. As my check-in fell on a Sunday, the cut-off time for in-person check-in was 4pm. Guests are encouraged to download an app to complete the self check-in process. Unfortunately, I was unable to complete the verification as I did not have a local phone number, which made the process rather challenging. That said, once I was settled in, the stay itself was very much what I had hoped for. I would still consider staying at Audo House again the next time I visit Copenhagen, especially because of its convenient location. It is within walking distance of some of my favourite spots, including Atelier September, La Cabra and Andersen & Maillard, as well as a supermarket, Meny. Overall, Audo House remains a place I would happily return to. Just be mindful of the check-in arrangements, especially if you are arriving on a Sunday or do not have a local phone number.”

“This is such a good compromise: the rooms and the hotel in general is very charming and classy; high ceilings, wooden floors, tastefully furnished. At the same time the bathrooms are shared, resulting in a much lower price than what the same room would cost with individual bathrooms. And I'd say, in a less anonymous and more friendly "hostel-style" atmosphere than a regular hotel. The living room was a great surprise where we had the opportunity to hang out with the kids for a bit and also chill out after having put them to bed. I felt that there was a weird smell in our room, possibly due to moist or mold but I can't say for sure. The hotel isn't staffed between 6pm and 7am. Therefore the hand towels in the bathroom aren't stocked up when finished and the complementary coffee and tea is cold early in the morning. A few toys or children's books would be appreciated by families with kids! ”
