“I was returning to my birth city Wiesbaden and chose this hotel as it was very near the address my parents stayed at when they had me. On this trip I met my birth mother and full brother, his wife, sisters and nephew. This hotel is fantastic. Very clean very helpful front desk and room attendants. My German is decent but I had not actively used it for years. They were so kind and friendly. I walked to the address my mother had stayed at and even down the river path, and through the Castle park. I rekindled my love for Wiesbaden because of this stay and will return very soon. I found the room comfortable and even with the recent heat wave opened the window and it was nice enough. I am more accustomed to Air conditioning but did just fine. We believe thwy have larger rooms but we were happy with a smaller one since it was just three days and we spent all our time in Wiesbaden and Mainz. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and completely worth purchasing. Two breakfast attendants and the selection of food and beverages was so plentiful, from fresh fruits, yoghurt breads pastries, a fabulous machine that makes everything from coffee to Cappuccino to hot chocolate if you desire. There were soft /hard boiled eggs, a selections of cold cuts and cheeses. The hot entrees were scrambled eggs and sausages and even wurst! There were mozzarella cheese balls and vegetables, olives, and salad. One can not leave hungry here. For dinner I walked across the street to The Schützenhof which may share a relationship with the hotel, I am not certain. That was spectacular as well. Overall I loved the marble staircase and entryway being well lit and so modern. I imagine during winter months the stairs may be slippery but I loved them. In the evening they had a cooler at the front desk and the gentleman working was a delight. He showed me the selection of beer, wine, sparkling water which I purchased gladly. I liked the low bubbles mineral water. We went into town to the World’s Largest ”

“I’ve made the reservation for two rooms with one smoking room. I found out the my smoking room was in the basement with a very dirty room where was not opened to change the air. No privacy as the room is in the basement and any one can see everything inside from street walking. Wanted to talk about that to front desk but the lady is not speaking English. I don’t advise this hotel. P.s room pictures were taken and will be shared with the website Agoda.”

“To begin with, there are good and bad things about this hotel. Firstly, staff were quite friendly and professional. The breakfast was nice, but staff seemed a bit slow at replacing food, e.g., croissants, and when there was no fruit left, they never put new fruit out. The room itself was very nice, with a mini fridge and they give you a free bottle of water. However, when you open the shower door you can’t have the shower mat next to the shower as the shower door is too low, so it pushes the mat away when you open the door. This is a bit of a basic error in my opinion. Also, the shower door itself looked a bit dirty with a yellow layer at the bottom (I’m sure with good cleaning material this could be fixed). At first, I hesitated staying here as the hotel is so close to the train station, however I thought with the intercity chain hotel that soundproofing would be excellent. Nope! My room faced the side of the side entrance to the train station and there were about 5 guys standing there for a long time. Every time they laughed or made noises I felt like it was coming from my neighbour it was so so loud. My windows were closed and I was on the second floor and not so close to them, so I was a bit surprised that it was so audible. Luckily, they left at about 11pm and it was very peaceful. Would I stay here again? Due to the poor soundproofing probably not if it were a Saturday night, but apart from that it’s a very nice hotel.”
