To begin with, there are good and bad things about this hotel. Firstly, staff were quite friendly and professional. The breakfast was nice, but staff seemed a bit slow at replacing food, e.g., croissants, and when there was no fruit left, they never put new fruit out. The room itself was very nice, with a mini fridge and they give you a free bottle of water. However, when you open the shower door you can’t have the shower mat next to the shower as the shower door is too low, so it pushes the mat away when you open the door. This is a bit of a basic error in my opinion. Also, the shower door itself looked a bit dirty with a yellow layer at the bottom (I’m sure with good cleaning material this could be fixed). At first, I hesitated staying here as the hotel is so close to the train station, however I thought with the intercity chain hotel that soundproofing would be excellent. Nope! My room faced the side of the side entrance to the train station and there were about 5 guys standing there for a long time. Every time they laughed or made noises I felt like it was coming from my neighbour it was so so loud. My windows were closed and I was on the second floor and not so close to them, so I was a bit surprised that it was so audible. Luckily, they left at about 11pm and it was very peaceful. Would I stay here again? Due to the poor soundproofing probably not if it were a Saturday night, but apart from that it’s a very nice hotel.

This hotel is fully recommendable, esp for business travellers, relatively quiet location despite next to main station, clean and air conditioned rooms

To be honest, I only booked the hotel room because I wanted to be somewhere with air-conditioning for a few days. I live locally and I was very pleasantly surprised about everything in the inter-city hotel. I especially liked the friendly staff, the refrigerator in the room, and the strong AC in the room as well. Strongly recommend to stay here also for the convenient location.

I love the location, just beside the train station. Nice and spacious reception. Recommendable

i stayed next forefront facing the train station door. which many tourists use this spot as meeting point. rather loud in the morning. lacks privacy at that room.
