“Zafi Hotel deserves the highest praise for an exceptional stay on San Andres Island. From the moment we arrived, the outstanding service, welcoming atmosphere, and genuine quality of the property made an immediate impression. The rooms are modern, clean, and incredibly comfortable, with stylish decoration and elegant colors throughout. The amenities are thoughtfully curated, making each stay feel special and refined. The breakfast was truly amazing—a highlight of each morning—and the location is perfectly positioned for exploring the island. But what truly sets Zafi Hotel apart is the remarkable human quality of the entire team. Owner Juliana and manager Jennifer set an exceptional tone from the top. Lorena, the front desk manager, was extraordinary: her warm smile, thoughtful recommendations, and attentive service went far beyond the standard. The entire receptionist team—Amy, Keithy, and Kinderlan (Kinder Sorpresa)—were wonderful, always ready with a genuine greeting and helpful suggestions. Bartenders Ziak and Gabriel crafted excellent drinks and created a welcoming atmosphere at the bar. The waitresses provided gracious, attentive service at every meal, ensuring our comfort and satisfaction. The housekeeping team maintained impeccable standards, keeping every space pristine and welcoming throughout our stay. The kitchen staff, HR director, and indeed everyone on the property embodied the same spirit of genuine care and professionalism. Each interaction felt personal and authentic—they made us feel truly welcomed and valued. It’s rare to find a hotel where every team member takes such pride in their work. I do want to note one challenge that lies outside the hotel’s control: noise from a nearby establishment, Freedom, during evening and night hours was quite loud and disruptive. While this is certainly not the responsibility of Zafi Hotel’s management, I would gently encourage local authorities and neighboring businesses to work together on reasonable sound regulation in the area. Such consideration would allow guests to enjoy the full beauty of their evenings here. Thank you to the wonderful team at Zafi Hotel for an unforgettable experience. “가격대비 딱 맞는 숙소입니다. 단 몇 미터 거리에 해변이 있고 시설을 이용할 수 있는 숙소인 레이나 델 마르(Reina del Mar)에 접근할 수 있다는 점이 더해졌습니다. 중심지와 거리가 멀어 오후 8시 이후에는 대중교통이 없고 택시만 이용 가능합니다 ”

“The sea view rooms are nice but very noisy. Very little staff speaks English. We thought that the food is not good but after we moved to another hotel with better reviews for another 4 nights we found out that compared to this hotel it was fine. At check in you need to sign all the inventary in the room - towels, glasses, hair dryer ... - it feels very strange. I never experienced something like this. ”

“I travel solo all over the world, and this hotel made me feel unwelcome by most of the staff and the restaurant attached to the hotel. I do want to recognize Jeyson at the front desk and Zauny in the upstairs restaurant. They were both friendly and helpful. Everyone else made me feel like I was bothering them whenever I asked a question. I’m not sure if it was a cultural difference or because I don’t speak Spanish, but it was an uncomfortable experience. If it weren’t for Zauny, I’m not sure I would have eaten at the hotel. I couldn’t order room service because the phone in my room wasn’t working, so I had to go upstairs to place my order in person. Somehow, I was still charged the room service fee. As a travel agent, I often visit destinations and hotels before recommending them to my clients, so I pay close attention to the overall guest experience. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet my expectations. The restaurant next door also left a poor impression. Although there were open tables in the front, I was seated in the back corner. I ordered a $50 steak that a mid-tier restaurant could have prepared better. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience. Thankfully, the tour guide and excursion were outstanding and reminded me how beautiful this country truly is. They saved my overall impression of the destination. While I would absolutely return to this beautiful country, I’m not so sure I would stay at this hotel or recommend it to my clients.”

“The hotel is nice unfortunately while i was there the beach and see had A LOT of sea moss so was impossible to swim. Personnel very kind and the facilities are kept very clean the hotel it's in a quiet , nice part of the island if the beach and sea were clean this hotel would have been perfect. ”
