I travel solo all over the world, and this hotel made me feel unwelcome by most of the staff and the restaurant attached to the hotel. I do want to recognize Jeyson at the front desk and Zauny in the upstairs restaurant. They were both friendly and helpful. Everyone else made me feel like I was bothering them whenever I asked a question. I’m not sure if it was a cultural difference or because I don’t speak Spanish, but it was an uncomfortable experience. If it weren’t for Zauny, I’m not sure I would have eaten at the hotel. I couldn’t order room service because the phone in my room wasn’t working, so I had to go upstairs to place my order in person. Somehow, I was still charged the room service fee. As a travel agent, I often visit destinations and hotels before recommending them to my clients, so I pay close attention to the overall guest experience. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet my expectations. The restaurant next door also left a poor impression. Although there were open tables in the front, I was seated in the back corner. I ordered a $50 steak that a mid-tier restaurant could have prepared better. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience. Thankfully, the tour guide and excursion were outstanding and reminded me how beautiful this country truly is. They saved my overall impression of the destination. While I would absolutely return to this beautiful country, I’m not so sure I would stay at this hotel or recommend it to my clients.

Great aesthetics - Poor Customer Service

Service Worse than the Mainland
I live in Medellín. Colombian service is bad, but the servers have a whole new level of contempt in San Andreas. This hotel was no exception. The breakfast was not good food either. Value for money was very low.

El hotel es increíble, desde la atención del personal, los detalles del hotel, la limpieza estuvo 10/10, la habitación era amplia, cómoda y muy limpia, además estuve de cumpleaños y me sorprendieron en la mañana con un detalle de comer, lo recomiendo a full si su objetivo es descanso, y la ubicación llegábamos caminando a todos los puntos relevante de la isla, y si necesitan ir más lejos te ayudan con taxi, si o si volvería
