Terrabella was easily one of the best experiences of our entire Sri Lanka trip. From the moment we arrived, Aruna made us feel like family rather than guests. His kindness, care, warmth and hospitality were exceptional, and very quickly the place started to feel like our own home in Nuwara Eliya. The ambience of Terrabella was beautiful. We especially enjoyed the cool evening and night breeze, which made the stay feel calm and refreshing. From the balcony, we could also enjoy a lovely view of Gregory Lake, which added something really special to the whole experience. Sitting there and enjoying the peaceful surroundings became one of those simple but memorable moments of the trip. Aruna is genuinely a wonderful person. He looked after us throughout our stay, guided us on what to see around Nuwara Eliya, helped us with local arrangements, and even supported us in getting our train tickets for the next part of our journey. His help went far beyond what we could ever expect. The food was another major highlight. Aruna cooked for us, and the meals were absolutely delicious — fresh, homemade, authentic and honestly more than excellent. Some of the best food we had during our Sri Lanka trip was right here. What made the experience truly special, though, was the friendship we developed with Aruna. He became a close buddy during our stay, and that personal connection is something we will always remember. Terrabella is not just a place to stay in Nuwara Eliya — it is a place where you can relax, enjoy the cool weather, appreciate the beautiful surroundings, and genuinely feel cared for. If we visit Nuwara Eliya again, there is no question where we will stay. We would happily come back to Terrabella again and again. Thank you, Aruna, for making our time in Nuwara Eliya so memorable.
