“very nice place”

“This was such a cute little lodge. Location was perfect, in the middle of the town with all the shops and eateries at your doorstep, but without any of the town centre noise. We walked almost everywhere the whole two days. The room was very comfortable and we slept so well, water in the shower was hot with great pressure. Our host and her famiy wete so lovely and helpful with advice, recommendations, and general welcome. ”

“Inga and Albert were amazing hosts. Nothing was too much of an issue and they were always available to answer any of our questions. Breakfast was excellent, amenities very good with the sauna particularly well used, and we really enjoyed our spacious room with fireplace and outdoor tub. We will be back 😉”

“You will NOT go wrong at all when choosing Karoo View Cottages as a one night stop over or even as a few days accommodation. You will NOT find anything better and more beautiful than this in the area. The hosts are absolutely wonderful and extremely friendly and helpful. The units are all very well equipped, super clean and beautiful, with EVERYTHING you will need. You might want to try out their Braai Hampers...as these are equally Awesome. We will most certainly be back again. ”

“Excellent pre-arrival communication from Jude. Beautiful rooms with a lovely, clean, new ambiance. Fresh linen on extremely comfortable beds. Great attention to detail - mosquito-repellent and insecticide, rusks with coffee and tea were provided. The garden was beautiful and the bird-life was varied and entertaining. The view of the mountains, the sunset and sunrise from the upstairs deck was a highlight of our stay. ”

“We're so glad that we found this fantastic guesthouse for our overnight stay. Leonard and Neil's attention to detail is evident everywhere, and they were the perfect hosts to boot. From the welcome we received to the recommendations for dinner, we were made to feel like old friends, not strangers passing through. And then the breakfast...oh my goodness! Homemade bread, butter and preserves... and locally produced milk, yoghurt and eggs, all expertly put together by Leonard for the perfect breakfast to set us up for a long day of traveling. I can't recommend the establishment highly enough... thank you Leaonard and Neil!”
