“We arrived there a little bit early, but the receptionist was friendly. However, the restaurant was not ready yet for lunch, so be aware they do take a break after breakfast to prepare for lunch. The specials are very good value and very filling as the portions are very good. We were not informed of the dinner specials so were a bit disappointed when we learned of the eisbein and oxtail meals after already ordering off the menu, but yet again the burger I order was very filling and the waiter was kind enough to bring me a taster of the stew. The pina colada cocktail was a winner for me as it was absolute the best. Overall, the staff were quite adept and we appreciated the food and the included breakfast was very good. The only problem we had was with the plumbing in the room. Whenever one of our neighbours showered, the plumbing was heard in our unit. Not nice in the early morning when that woke us up very early. Overall, a good experience. ”

“13 steps are superb. The location good and the staff very friendly. The room are small but cosy and fully equiped. Nice kitchen with microwave and fridge and bathroom with shower. The bedroom nice with good bed. This place is highly recommended and real value for money. Nice from sleepover in Springbok.”
