“6 + Nights and R3000+ spent here on ROOMS ONLY here's a detailed and honest breakdown tp Aloe Tree: Mercy and Margaret were great, and the wifi was great when working, the pool looks nice and we got some xs lemons from their tree for free, our furry spaniel could roam around and .....that's it...honestly here we go: Everything else in, on or around Aloe Tree feels like a distant memory of an afterthought, this place is not in any way, shape or form curated to the guest or their experience, this is definitely the just pair up what's "needed" at a subpar standard and the guests better be happy or else.. The Host is an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE, it feels like these owners woke up one day and decided: "Fine we'll do everyone else a favour at great personal sacrifice and inconvenience and rent out some rooms on our property" But.....let's be the hosts who do things different, have absolutely no guest relation experience, caretaking intuition or to be honest learn anything about this industry obviously just waddled into. And don't forget every guest is out to get us and steal from us, God forbid you even think of paying just 1 of the 6+ night stay later like the next morning, you'll be shamed into oblivion due to previous guests thievery, even after previous nights were all paid up??? *Caution*with the host, she'll suck every ounce of what guest experience should be from the marrow of hospitality, nay I'd say Hostile. You'll only see them once maybe her twice then you'll hear it: YELLING SOOOOO LOUD ALL of aloe tree heard miles around: She'll be summoning her workers to her house and berating all who serve her... I reiterate, it does not feel like your a guest, nay, PAYING consumer at there guesthouse, more like an intruder on their property. Remember you get what you pay for and..... as this guesthouse has no "official" rating, don't expect 1,2,3,4,5 star anything. Again the two ladies working are the only reason I'm entering any review. Dont expect a reception for check in, extremely disorganized, and again it feels like you are just a hassle that needs to be moved around,not 👏🏼a 👏🏼paying 👏🏼customer👏🏼 The staff were very sweet to our fur baby, and just fyi they decide to use all white linens( washed but never ironed out properly) in the rooms, this plot land gets muddy, the inevitable happened and our muddy paws got on one of the sheets, my GOD the immediate message i got from, Madam is NOT HAPPY, I apologized and offered immediate payment if it needed to be replaced, no they "didnt care" but we were handed a Very old duvet comforter and smilingly told dont let this happen again, well let's leave it there. “This place is amazing , the hosts are welcoming, the view is amazing , at some point we forgot we were still in Gauteng , you get your money’s worth and if like my wife you like taking pictures, you’ll love the scenery ”

“It's not kids friendly no activitiesfor kidd, its a 5 star hotel.but their breakfast is not a buffet it's like being served in a 2 star hotel, my kids went back home couldn't even use their rooms. It was bad from day one we arrived from the reception they made ke wait for an hour consulting with their boss. ”
