“Arrived at Villa Maria on a sweltering hot summer afternoon only to discover that the aircon wasn’t working. Only the ceiling fan but it was insufficient and had to sleep with the sliding door open. But overall good service and amazing breakfast. ”

“This is a great guesthouse with amazing owners. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Thank you for making my stay so great and see you both again soon! ”

“We enjoyed our stay! Was exceptional!”

“Our room's shower didn't have hot water. Upon reporting this in the morning at checkout instead of a sincere apology the manager just said that's impossible. I asked her to go check, which she did and found that we weren't lying. As she was checking I asked one of the workers and she confirmed that this had been reported before but mentioned that they are not allowed to speak to guests. I hope this won't get her into trouble. After doing her check, the manager came and started trying to make light of the situation, telling us about how some of the guests complained about their breakfast. We weren't complaining or fighting, all we were hoping for was an acknowledgement and a sincere apology. My friends were booked in another room which had a great shower. The place is beautiful and the other staff gave us great service overall. I hope the manager will be honest to other guests or at least acknowledge quickly when guests report a fault. ”
