“On arrival we were upgraded to a luxury room on the first floor with sea views to compensate for the misunderstanding on their advert stating dinner was included. The room was outstanding in every detail, the toiletries were fabulous as was the bathroom,, selection of teas and cafetiere were lovely. Complimentary port wine was a lovely surprise. It was clear that the owners had gone the extra mile to ensure every box was ticked. The staff ewere there to greet us on arrival, unloading the car and taking our cases to the room. We opted to stay in for dinner as the dining room had superb views out to sea, and the fillet steak was done to perfection. Our breakfast was simply outstanding, surpassing every meal to date we have enjoyed during our month's stay in SA. The smoked haddock kedgeree with poached eggs was to die for. The service again was outstanding from all the staff. I enjoyed an excellent massage in the spa, and the lady even came back after hours. Electrically operated curtains on the panoramic view through the ceiling to floor windows was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended, despite being located on the outskirts of town. (Complimentary shuttle is available.) ”

“The property is just at the beach front . But the room which we got at the first floor was really small . It was cold so there was no provision for heater or heated room . Breakfast was average . I would give 3/5 on the stay. 5/5 on the location. ”

“Very professional service and the location is excellent as it is walking distance between New Harbour and Old Harbour. The owner Yvonne was very welcoming and explained everything clearly to us.”
