“The unit is located in a complex, and I felt safe (solo traveller). Fully equipped unit with attention to finer detail, e.g. flask with warm water for coffee/tea AND rusks on arrival (in case of loadshedding), an umbrella in one corner, and updated loadshedding schedule for every following day. Provision was made for wifi, tv & sufficient lights during loadshedding. I got lost on my way to the unit, but my host immediately came to fetch me. Advice: Use the complex name (Oak Lane Estate) as destination on Google Maps.”

“Staying so close to the water, made our stay a mystic and peaceful experience. A 4x4 vehicle, would be the best option to get there. When in need, we could rely on the help of Raymond, who is effectively overseeing the farm and the comfort of his guests!”

“We travelled as a familily of 4, inclusive of 2 adults and 2 boys. We stayed in a tented chalet overlooking the bass dam. The accomodation, facilities, staff, hospitality...everything about the place exceeded our expectations. The fishing was excellent and included plenty of bass and trout. This place is definitely a must visit if you love nature, fishing and/or hiking. This is definitely a family favourite and we will be back soon.”
