“The only highlight was the rusks. Note: we only booked because it was the only accommodation with availability for this particular wedding weekend. After reading the horrid reviews, we knew that we couldn’t have high expectations, but nothing prepared us for this poor experience of hospitality and accommodation. We did not have water, let alone hot water. No teaspoons or a working kettle. The AC needs to be regassed and serviced. It’s a construction site at the moment and workers have been chatting loudly since 1am in the morning. (Such a disturbance for one who just wants a peaceful nights rest.) The owner/hostess was unbelievably rude. I’m still waiting for her response on numerous emails i sent (pre arrival) and when I phoned to complain about the water or lack there off, she hung up on me. Unbelievably disappointed to say the least. Definitely not worth the price per night. Word of advise for the owners: Get your house in order! ”
