“My room was upgraded to a spacious 1 bedroom apartment with 2 balconies and a stunning ocean view even though I booked about 5 days before travel. The lodge has a beautiful, clean swimming pool. The staff were exceptionally friendly however the food from Thandi restaurant was disappointing.”

“We really enjoyed our stay and the staff reception and cleanliness of the place was exceptional indeed ”

“It was very noisy, there is a club across the road that was facing my room. I didn't sleep at all until maybe 3 in the morning. ”

“It really is a beach house. The Sala feels like home - with all the amenities of a boutique hotel. My 21-year-old daughter and I were looking for a place to relax during an otherwise busy trip around South Africa - and the Sala exceeded all our expectations. The waves crash to the rocks/beach in a mesmerising display right outside your window. The beach is just down a set of steps and a swim in the nearby Thomson Bay tidal pool was a real thrill, and one of our best memories of the trip. We ate breakfast outdoors with a view and read books in the evening at an outside (gas) fireplace. The staff were charming and service is exceptional. The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed both breakfast and dinner at the Beach House. Can't recommend this place highly enough. ”

“Tv was stuck on one channel A lounge seating area will have been nice Left a pair of shoe behind. Got a call within 30 minutes of leaving to inform me about it. We'll done”
