“We very much enjoyed the pool, with nice plantings and comfortable seating. Next time I will bring my own towel as the supplied towels were thin and smaller. We were surprised the pool area had no bathroom. The hotel is older and the decor is definately used but clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Dinner was very good at the bar/grill. Breakfast was the same as most free breakfast and they kept the trays and food areas well stocked. The garden is very nice and well lit. Rates are reasonable. We enjoyed our stay and will use this hotel again.”

“This is the lodging I choose when going to dog shows at the Expo Center. The neighborhood is good form walking dogs. ”

“Rooms were filthy including dirty carpets, sofa chair and bathrooms. When asked staff for a different room, they were rude and condescending. The room smelled horrible as if someone had smoked even though we reserved a nonsmoking room. Vowed to never return to this hotel again.”

“Stood at check in after being greeted while the associate finished up their lengthy text message. Finally received a single card key and went to the room. Whole hotel smelled funky. Lots of trash debris on the carpet- figured housekeeping would clean after they were finished with the rooms- nope. Room was “updated” with new paint and picture and desk/dresser, rest was super shabby. No bugs upon inspection, but we kept our things cased up and on top of the desk. Roaches found the next morning, though. Single carafe of coffee set out for breakfast, nothing else. At least it was near where had to be. ”

“The posted pictures may be nice. The posted information may sound nice. In my firsthand experience--I'm staying here now and will be for several more nights--this is a hotel to avoid. The rooms and hotel smell dated, musty, and stale. There is stained furniture in the rooms. The carpet in my room has buckling. There are holds for the mattress that stick out 2 inches too far and I've hit my leg on them several times now. EVERYTHING could use a good cleaning when it's obvious that some things are only superficially cleaned. ONE elevator is working and they have dirty and poorly taped construction plastic hanging next to the working elevator which is in a space the size of a glorified broom closet. The breakfast is a sad joke served in a room with the charm of a hospital hallway. I could go on and on, but you get the point? Find a better hotel. Surely there are many.”
