“Great place to stay to get away for the night!”

“The manager ruined what could have otherwise been a decent stay. A deposit for this motel is not mentioned on ANY 3rd party booking app so the expectation is that there isn't one. When I arrived the manager tried to charge me a deposit and said that "3rd party booking sites only care about profit so they don't tell you about it". Which is BS because while deposits SHOULD be disclosed by 3rd party sites (make sure you check multiple), the deposit is actually paid to the motel. So to insist that a deposit paid to the hotel is profit for the 3rd party booking is false. I would argue that five 3rd party booking sites not mentioning a deposit and a hotel manager trying to justify trying to charge at check in would suggest that it's the motel that is only concerned about profit. ”

“The room was extremely dirty and dusty. I had to clean the room with clorox cleaner and lysol. There was a musty smell to the room and it may be due to no fan in the bathroom. There was no fan in the bathroom so anytime you ised the shower it would be extremely muggy in the bathroom. If you open the bathroom door then the muggy feeling traveled out into the bedroom area. The bed cushion was completely warped and it felt like you were sleeping on a slinky. The pillows had no cushion in them and it felt like your face was flat on the bed. The building looks very nice on the outside and in the lobby. The staff is friendly but doesn't have the power to make any changes based on what the front desk clerk told me. We paid too much money for it to be this way.”
