“Friendly staff. Great location. Easily walkable to many restaurants and shops. Beautifully renovated room, hotel will be great once finished. Parking in the area can get quite expensive, the lot next to hotel charged me $27 per night to park ”

“Was here for one night with my boys to see the USS Alabama. It's not great; it's not horrible. I suppose for the price point, it's a good deal. Be advised that the price here does not include parking (11$). I would not want to have stayed here more than one night. As a matter of fact, on my return trip through Mobile (pit-stop), I have chosen elsewhere. "meh"”

“It’s an old building, but there are things they could do to make your stay a little better. The bathroom door in our room took a lot of effort to close. And the water in the shower was either too cold or really really hot. There was no in between and for the price I paid for the room. I would like to be able to shut the bathroom door and have a comfortable temperature for the shower. The place itself is very pretty. It’s historic and our room was really nice. You just have to understand that it’s an old historic building but certain things like the door to the bathroom in the shower temperature or things that are easily fixed, but I don’t think that they’ve gotten into it or they’re OK with them being subpar. ”
