“Staff was downright rude and disrespectful at every single point of dealing with them. They charged me twice for my room and made me pay extra money after I had already paid for the room. But they had already ran my card. Absolutely not a good stay”

“Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Martha's Bed & Breakfast. The house has been beautifully restored, and the rooms were clean. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept in for a long while. The shower was hot and refreshing. The breakfast was okay...decent enough...fresh fruit, a pastry, some ham, and cheese. One cup of coffee - no offer of refills. They didn't have any alternatives for gluten free, but the staff did bring me extra fruit. My only true complaint was the rude and unprofessional check in experience - the man ranted about my having used a booking service and how complicated it was for them, how I should have booked directly with them, and that I should contact my congressperson to complain about the system. Like, hello?! I'm just your guest, trying to check in. Please stop taking your frustrations out on me! ”
