“Very nice hotel & very comfortable accommodations. Great breakfast & great staff. Elevator was offline for maintenance & the staff carried my 50 lb bag up the stairs. Quiet too”

“I went to the Oread for a Friday night away from family, about an hour from where I live. The experience here was interesting. Staff are kind, the facilities very clean, the bathroom in the room was incredibly spacious and the shower huge (king room). The floor in the room is not carpeted but a laminant flooring. There's nothing to really absorb sound and so there's literally an echo when you talk and it sounds like you are in a stairwell or a metal garage. Parking is underground and NOT free. This hotel is right on the KU campus just down from the Football Stadium so I'm sure that this is THE hotel for alumni and parents to come in and stay at. The rates for football and such show. Totally not worth the 300 plus rate for football and graduation to me, but to others maybe. My rate was from a booking app at 137 a night. That's a fair rate for what I received. There's no coffee pot or keurig in the room and you have to go downstairs to get coffee. No breakfast included. No hot hub, pool or other annemities except a grocery area, the bar with restaurant (we ate on Mass stress) and a cookie place underneath. There are local campus fast food paces along the street. Metered parking per hour on the street for those not guests of the hotel. Early check in was available and we did check in about 1:30. Mass street is 5 minutes away so great for access to that area and lots of entertainment and places to shop and eat. This hotel is a basic room, that's very clean, great spacious bathroom and the terracce views are neat if it's not 99 degrees outside.”

“The front desk lady was extremely rude to my gf after we asked for a discount because the hot tub wasn't working. We called before we booked our stay and asked them specifically if the hot tub was working and they told us yes and when we arrived it was not. ”

“StoneHill Lawrence, Trademark Collection by Wyndham staff is absolutely wonderful, very polite and helpful. My daughter & I had a flat on our way there. We were not going to be able to make it till very very late. They were very kind and courteous and tried to do all they could to help us. They kept our reservation and did not cancel it. We were very exhausted by the time we got there they were so kind and checking us in and getting us up to our room and comfortable. The rooms are very nice and clean. The location for us was in a very good place, it was near a doctor. We were going there to see. It is a little out from downtown, but the drive is not hard or long. The elevators were a much needed help for me as I had just had surgery, I also have herniated discs in my neck, so my arm has problems carrying things. They have plenty of carts to put your luggage on to take to your room. They have a computer room, a cute little TV area, the lounge is pretty, nice pool, Vending machines not far from the room and on same floor, Exercise room, free breakfast And so much more. I cannot tell you all the help the staff gave us while we were there that week, they are absolutely wonderful. We will stay again!”

“We stayed here before our KU tour. It was a decent hotel. We actually got put in the handicapped accessible room so both the room and bathroom were extra big. It was a decent hotel for the price. Nice shower head pressure. Typical free breakfast items. Smaller size mini fridge. But overall, it was clean and nice.”
