“I was exhausted and just needed a room for the night. I asked for a room with 2 Queen beds, close to lobby & elevator. Was given neither. Took 3 tried to FINALLY get it right. The Night Manager/Security guy was amazingly helpful and got us situated so shoot our to Frank/tall, African American man who made it happen!) ”

“This hotel is in the process of changing ownership. No coffee Maker, no ice bucket, no cups or glasses, No pen nor paper, Hot tub was out of order , Recliner chair was shredded probably by some pet, The carpeting was also shredded in various spots. Worst of all, even though a breakfast was advertised, they did not serve one. Also advertised was coffee tea and water in the common areas. This was also not available. ”

“My experience at this hotel was absolutely terrible. From the moment I walked in, the place reeked of a mixture of old, musty air and a strong cat-like odor. I hoped our room would be an improvement, but unfortunately, it was just as bad—outdated, with an unbearable smell. Had it not been 3 AM, I would have left immediately. The entire stay was miserable. The floor was damp, and even the bed covers felt wet and unpleasant, forcing me to wear shoes indoors the entire time. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Just awful.”

“Let me start with the hotel was very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The pillows were soft and the beds were comfortable. The walls were not thin, so we barely heard people walking around, which is great when you have LO with early bedtimes and naps. With that said, Avid was not super kid friendly (at least not for little ones). Our room only had a shower, my kids are 4 yoand 1 yo. Although the 4 yo was ok, it was not the easiest to bath my 1 yo. The continental breakfast had some variety, but not much. Each morning there were some variety of eggs, a hot meat, and potatoes. Beyond that, there was yogurt, muffins/bagels, bananas/apples, oatmeal, and 2 types of cereal. However, one of the cereal dispenser was stuck the whole time. This isn't so bad considering the price, but not much when you have super picky toddlers. My husband and I were fine with the food, just a warning for those parents with the picky eaters. You may want to bring something for them. Overall, our stay was nice. ”
