“My husband and I were going to a wedding at the Kelso Elks. This hotel is super close to that. So it worked great for us. Also right off the I-5 Freeway with lots of parking. Every interaction with staff was positive. People were friendly and helpful. A shout out to the maintenance guy who saw me unloading the luggage rack and offered to take it back to the front lobby for me. Our room was super clean. I have stayed in a bunch of hotels recently, and this one was among the cleanest. That is important. The beds were comfy, fridge worked, nice space for luggage. All what I want in a hotel room. The bathroom was on the small side, but everything in it worked. I appreciated a lot of counter space in it too. Only negative was the I-5 noise. I had asked for a "quiet" room, so was a bit surprised to get one on the freeway side of the hotel. Sure enough, there was steady freeway noise. However, the hotel had super good insulation so it was pretty low. My husband declared it sounded like ocean waves and he slept wonderfully. So some people will not be bothered by it at all. For me, it was low, but just enough that I could hear it - so I popped in my ear plugs and also slept wonderfully all night long. That means, I am NOT complaining about the noise at all, just want to let other travelers know that you may want a pair of ear plugs at the ready just in case. One final note, breakfast was good with eggs, potatoes, waffles, toast, and more. Plus coffee and hot water for tea. I was quite pleased with our stay here and would stay again.”
