“Spent one night in the downtown holiday inn in Grand Rapids. We recieved early check in and the staff were very friendly. The room was very spacious and clean. An easy walk to the german beer hall for drinks, dinner at butchers union and a nice stroll across the bridge to the concert venue”

“The hotel itself is beautiful and staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a small issue come up with our room, the staff was very helpful in finding a resolution and making sure we were able to enjoy our stay. I I always stay at Hilton hotels but this was my first Embassy suites stay, we were not disappointed. ”

“Unimpressed by lack of basic personal necessities like complimentary bottled drinking water, bedroom slippers, personal care kit (dental kit, hair comb/cap, facial tissue, cotton buds, etc), percolator (water heater), no bath robe, no complimentary welcome drinks. Although hotel front desk personnel are so accommodating.”

“We got a room that was like a shoe box, just horrible and not a picture like it on the web site. When asked to be moved wanted to charge us more money, was sorted and the room was lovely but not as clean as I would like it but that could be just me. No entertainment or not much of a bar or the person behind it serving was lets say not the friendliest. Parking is horrible they have no parking the hotel around the corner at least had better rooms and parking. It was a lovely place but would not stay again.”

“If you’re in town for culture or sports, this is an excellent choice. Centrally located, with decent breakfast included. Friendly staff is excellent too. ”
