“I stayed 5 nights at the Blu and was very excited about my upcoming stay! The reason is that they have removed the carpet and now have what looked like beautiful herringbone wood floors, SO much more hygienic that carpet which holds odors, stains, bacteria. When I arrived in my room I saw that the floor looked entirely unvacuumed! There were dust and particles along the wall, clothing tags on the floor, and various specks and flecks of who knows what, on the beautiful floor! So I asked that my room be vacuumed. I asked every day of my stay. On day 4, I noticed that something had occurred, because ONE of the almonds on the floor was gone. Yet that was the extent of anything done to the floor. On my last day I just felt so discouraged and powerless that I didn't even want to comment. Upon checkout and facing the question of how my stay was, I was quietly honest about the situation. I was given a breakfast pass for my inconvenience, I guess. The cleanup that I had requested would have taken 10 minutes with a vacuum, and another 5 with a mop. What a waste of my money and good cheer. Staff was accessible and kept writing my complaint and sending it somewhere, but there were no results. Otherwise, the room was comfortable and well cleaned. I will NOT stay here again, though I am in town for several days every 2 months and I do need a consistently clean place to stay.”

“If you have an early flight, this is close to the airport. They serve breakfast at 5AM. There's also a burger king, cvs and subway nearby. ”
