“Hotel muy americano”

“Hotel was clean. Didn’t have any major issues while I was there. The staff was friendly. The location is great. It’s walking distance to a bunch of stores, restaurants and bars. It’s far enough back that the noise isn’t an issue but close enough to walk to everything. Hotel gave me a coupon for a free appetizer at Texas Roadhouse, which was nice. ”

“No I would not recommend. Second day of me being there was no water practically all day. I had plans that day n couldn't go because I needed to shower. Staff was ok. But did not know anything I asked. I asked for a refund for the second day! Haven't heard anything. ”

“The young woman who was at the front desk is ditzy and slow. When my colleagues and I arrived at 10am we enquired about early check in. We expected an early check in fee, but this girl said it was “… maybe 30? Or 35? Dollars?” We were surprised, that price was the highest early check in fee we’d ever encountered. I’ve paid $25 to check in early at nicer hotels than this dump. We were even more surprised when she approached checked with her boss and told us actually the fee to check in early is $50! For this dump? We decided to go kill time at Walmart, which would be a much better way to spend $50. When we got back at 2am we found the front desk deserted, with another guest who was waiting to check in, waiting there with increasing frustration. He said he’d been ringing the bell for service for 10 mins. We waited another 5 mins before the ditzy girl turned up, looking very surprised that there were guests waiting to check in. She didn’t even apologise for keeping us all waiting, and didn’t seem in a hurry to check us in either. I dunno, I think she was stoned or something. It took her 40 mins to check in 4 people. Be aware as well there is a $100 deposit. I don’t think anything in their damp, dirty rooms is worth $100, but they insist on it anyway. Breakfast is a sad affair: store muffins, yogurt, cereal,’and waffles. Whole bananas and apples. No hot food. I’ll look to stay elsewhere next time I’m in Brownsville.”

“The worst customer service ever since i checked in service has been terrible like my son hat gotten muffins he ended up not wanting it so he gave it to his sister she saidnill just save it for u for later n the man in the front desk was like u cant take that out u have to eat it and the problem with that is that he waited until i walked out to go after my kid instead of tellin me somethin first and then he did the same thing in the pool goin after kids and then the shower didnt work we had to be bending down to even shower with cups to wash ourselfs like why book the room when it needed service definetly never booking here again 😡😡”
