“The young woman who was at the front desk is ditzy and slow. When my colleagues and I arrived at 10am we enquired about early check in. We expected an early check in fee, but this girl said it was “… maybe 30? Or 35? Dollars?” We were surprised, that price was the highest early check in fee we’d ever encountered. I’ve paid $25 to check in early at nicer hotels than this dump. We were even more surprised when she approached checked with her boss and told us actually the fee to check in early is $50! For this dump? We decided to go kill time at Walmart, which would be a much better way to spend $50. When we got back at 2am we found the front desk deserted, with another guest who was waiting to check in, waiting there with increasing frustration. He said he’d been ringing the bell for service for 10 mins. We waited another 5 mins before the ditzy girl turned up, looking very surprised that there were guests waiting to check in. She didn’t even apologise for keeping us all waiting, and didn’t seem in a hurry to check us in either. I dunno, I think she was stoned or something. It took her 40 mins to check in 4 people. Be aware as well there is a $100 deposit. I don’t think anything in their damp, dirty rooms is worth $100, but they insist on it anyway. Breakfast is a sad affair: store muffins, yogurt, cereal,’and waffles. Whole bananas and apples. No hot food. I’ll look to stay elsewhere next time I’m in Brownsville.”

“Nice place to stay. Value was great. Staff was friendly facilities looked clean. I didn't really use much of the amenities. Location was nice near a lot of activity. Room was clean, but missing a few items- no place to hang clothes, room was missing an iron & pillows need an upgrade really flat.”

While the hot water worked well and housekeeping was adequate, the overall cleanliness was lacking and staff were unhelpful. The location was not ideal and facilities offered little to enhance the experience, leading to poor value for money.”

“En las fotos se ve algo decente pero al llegar al cuarto fue una total DECEPCIÓN y todo a simple vista, el lugar sucio, las fundas de almohada manchadas de humedad, la cama demasiado dura, todo el tiempo el cuarto oliendo mal a humedad. Ni el refrigerador ni el microondas funcionaba. El mueble todo sucio y roto, las sillas todas deterioradas y manchadas. Una experiencia HORRIBLE que jamás esperábamos vivir. El costo no es el adecuado para lo que en verdad ofrece, esperábamos mínimo algo decente. ”
