“Hampton Inn has been our go to hotel on this 3 week road trip and this was our 3rd stay at a Hampton Inn. While the hotel was up to our expectations, large clean room (we booked a suite) with a kitchen, work desk and chair, free breakfast, WiFi, parking and a laundry room, all great, the name was misleading when we booked, Hampton Inn Benton Harbor, thinking it was by the water but was no where near any harbor or water, which was 15-20 minutes away, but was beside the I-94 highway with many truck stops nearby. In any case, we made the best of it as it was for only one night and we were driving through to Chicago, and luckily it was close to a Walmart, Meijer, Best Buy etc. with many other shops and restaurants to chose from and kept us busy into the night. Overall stay was great, new hotel and large clean room, could use some utensils, plates etc., with a very nice and friendly front desk staff and access to the interstate nearby if passing through, otherwise would recommend to stay in a small pretty town called Saint Joseph, 15 minutes away, that is by the water and has a nice beach called Lions Park Beach if spending more than a night.”

“This place is so beautiful I have stayed here every time I visit the Benton Harbor area and the people are always great. It feels though there’s not enough staff at this location and no oversight. ”

“I have stayed here on many occasions and each time I find something that makes me think that it could be better, from hair in the bed, to dirty towels. This time around someone must’ve dropped ice cream in the elevator and it dried in there.”

“The stay is not as bad as the reviews. The hotel is overall run down, but rooms are clean. The pool was open and available, the kids loved it! The beds were comfortable. The location was not the greatest but not the worst either. Wifi did not work. ”
