“Overall good hotel ”

“No breakfast buffet. You get breakfast in a restaurant. You only get one cup of juice. No tea. Coffee with refills. Food from the menu was good. Overall not my style of breakfast. ”

“Room is clean and comfortable with complimentary hot breakfast to start the day. Food and shopping options are available nearby. Excellent value. ”

“Our bathroom john wouldn't flush. On second try the staff got it to work using a machine that made the whole room smell like sewage. They had no other rooms available and tried to mask the smell with sprays. They did refund our payment, but by then it was late at night and we were lucky to find another hotel.”

“The place is newly refurbished so it was clean, smelled good, the bees were great. I would have recommended it even with the TV remote not working (batteries needed changing). We checked in Friday evening. Saturday we went up to Bishop. I realized we had left our orthopedic pillows in the room so I called and told the owner/manager which he checked and said yes they found them and would keep them for me as I would be coming back thru there on Sunday. (Quick business trip). We did show up on Sunday and was promptly told that the maid threw them in the garbage so we're not there. She offered to give us a room but since we were not staying and had been to Barstow 2 times in 70 years I doubted that would be viable. I was told that when the maid, whom they fired, returned to get her check them they would discuss it with her and get her to pay for the pillows. At that time Amazon had the pillows on sale for $29.99 but only for that day. The regular price was $49.99. All I wanted was one pillow paid for. I would eat the rest...pillow and 2 cases from my set. Almost 2 weeks later, and a multitude of calls, & emails, I finally reached them”
