“I would not recommend this hotel\. However, I would like to recognize Jay at the front desk for her outstanding customer service\. She was very kind, sweet, and welcoming, and she made a wonderful first impression\. Unfortunately, when my family and I walked into our room, we discovered that it had not been cleaned\. The bed was unmade, and the room was clearly not ready for guests\. Jay immediately apologized and moved us to a clean room, and I truly appreciated her quick response\. Even so, compared with other DoubleTree hotels I have stayed at, this location did not come close to meeting the standards I have come to expect from the DoubleTree brand\. I would like to thank Jay and acknowledge her professionalism\. She was the one bright spot during our stay and deserves recognition for her excellent service”

“Stayed one night and confident from the start. Employee first impressions are important to a hotel booking and stay. Talking to Hanna on the phone to check on our request and confirm our stay was very helpful. And checking-in with Heidi was smooth. They are keepers! Lobby was welcoming and our room was nice. Big enough for 2 comfortable Queen beds and many nice pillows. This Baymont is really pet-friendly with a couple nice areas that we used and supply of bags. Owners please pick-up after your pet! This Baymount makes it easy to be responsible. Just address a couple maintenance fixes like the bathroom fan in our room was really loud so might need replacement. Person cleaning after guest departure should double check behind the bottom half of shower curtain...my hair is black and I lifted shower curtain away from tub and brown hair floated out from behind the curtain. Hopefully easy fixes! But would stay here again. Breakfast was nice and uniformed employees seem to work diligently. It's hard to maintain hotel property and clean-up after many many travelers including pets. Give credit to this Baymount for trying to deserve 4 stars and above! ”

“Breakfast very good. Bed soft but supportive. Outdoor pool not yet open but outside spa open, though no clean towels restocked. Obnoxious leaf blowers on sunday morning in this box hotel ghetto only one restaurant walkable and no houses of townspeople anywhere. One elevator broken. Free washing machine nice but modern machines that don't use enough water leaving clothes dirty. Staff put $50 "incidentals" fee on my charge card. I inquired for what since I don't want it consume anything incidentally in the room. He said was for damages. I replied "oh? So it's a security deposit?". Annoyed he called me "Sir, it's just a word we use." Apparently the schools need to improve English classes to speak words precisely. Otherwise for price paid an excellent stay if you want to drive everywhere. ”

“We checked in at the height of the very busy Balloon Fiesta traffic. Marty Ortiz and the team at the Clyde were kind and gracious. They made sure we were taken care of and had a pleasant stay. We would definitely stay here again. ”
