“A lovely tranquil boutique hotel at the end of a bumpy road in Bejuu. However, the beach is covered in very fine sand that gets into everything and covered in seaweed that doesn't really get cleared out. But the area is very close to Paje, which is an up and coming town with a great beach and vibe. My room was a lovely size and bed was large and comfortable. Shower and bathroom facilities were good. However, white towels and bedding was stained and of yellowish colouring. The kettle didn't automatically switch off once at boiling point, which is a significant health and safety issue. The Aircon unit constantly showed an error message, so only worked intermittently. The bedding wasn't changed as regularly as expected and I had to follow up with the Manager, including refilling bath gel and shampoo. If you don't pre-order meals, you can wait up to 1hr 30 mins and may end up with something you haven't ordered, with the F&B Supervisor consistently apologising, just so you can't complete your points of frustration. Some members of staff were too friendly and made me feel uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the Bar Team need to be provided with toiletry products and fresh tops, that can be used/replaced throughout the day, as working hard in heat does mean that a strong odour surrounds them and anyone in close distance, which was off-putting when ordering and eating food. But overall, still a great place to come rest a while with great staff, karaoke and good food. ”
