“It is a very beautiful and very clean place. The staff very friendly and very accommodating It is run by a German couple. The lady is very strict though, it is not a regular hotel she told us where you can just come and go anytime. We booked a balloon safari in Tarangire which is 4 hours away and we need to get up early 1AM to catch the 6AM flight. We can’t go out of the gate because the keys were with the lady and my daughter was given a dress down because allegedly she was not informed. As our guide was there the day before and was talking with her, we thought that it was all arranged. We felt like teenagers living in a strict dormitory. Breakfast was good but the amount is not standard. I ordered same thing everyday and the amount was dwindling as the day went by. There is an airconditioner switch outside our apartment and when we came home after visiting Materuni Falls and hotsprings, we found our unit - all ACs not working. As it was not uncomfortably hot, we just opened our windows. The following day, my daughter reported it and the main switch was turned on. I hate to tell this but there seems to be different treatment, according to your nationality and color.”
