“Booked for 2 nights. After arrival they told me that the room with private bahtroom is overbooked and that I can stay only one night or sharing the room in the second night. They were fair enough to offer me to stay for free one night after the safari. I didn't and booked an other place after the first night and for after the safari. I didn't got what I ve booked! The middle of the mattress is hollowed out, the worst so far on my african trip. The shared bathroom was clean! ”

“Bright Star is such a hidden gem! The rooms are clean and tidy; mine had a balcony with a view of banana trees in the courtyard. Breakfast was simple and delicious. The hotel is located of off of a very busy road, but you won’t hear any car noise, instead you’ll wake up to roosters. The ladies who run it are simply wonderful! Especially Sara, who literally went out of her way to help me get a shuttle to Nairobi! She walked with me to an unmarked stop and waited to make sure I got on the right shuttle. So grateful! Very glad that I found this lovely oasis. Best value for money ever. ”
