“Suppose to be pet friendly but not for big dogs. ”

“Nous sommes restés 7 nuits dans ce resort. Les points positifs : un parc très agréable, peu de bungalows (assez espacés), accès direct à la plage et bonne literie. Points négatifs : aucun équipement de loisirs qui rendent le séjour agréable (pas de transat sur la plage ,ni coussins ou autre juste 2 hamacs inconfortables), pas de table de Ping Pong, ballon ou raquettes pour la plage ou autre. Personnel souriant mais qui ne comprend pas l’anglais en dehors du strict minimum. Ambiance mortelle (toujours la même musique d’ascenseur au restaurant), bar au milieu du parc ouvert un jour sur deux, nous y avons vu 1x 2 personnes en 7 jours. Pas de happy hour. Pas de petit déjeuner buffet, restaurant fermé à 9h30 le matin et 19h30 le soir…massages proposés au double du prix (réellement) de l’hôtel d’à coté. Beaucoup de petites pierres dans l’eau, il faut aller se baigner 100 m plus loin a droite. Restaurant très moyen. Bungalow spacieux mais basique (pas de tv, une table et une chaise, 2 transats sur petite terrasse privée avec toit en plastique sale, chambre nettoyée à la demande… impossible de faire du yoga dans l’herbe a cause de petites mouches au raz du sol, impossible sur la plage a cause de petites puces… oui je sais la liste est longue mais c’est pour éviter a d’autre de faire la même erreur. Nous ne recommandons pas du tout par rapport aux autres resort vus sur l’île, mieux équipés et moins chers ou au même prix … ”

“Providing a fair review elaborating both good and bad, plus some personal experience during the stay. 1. Location - The location is not bad as it's in a quiet corner of the Island, Not much of a place where resorts are hard to reach since it's a small island but the good thing about this resort is the location positioning in a quiet corner. 2. Room - The room is clean, a fair room type compare to what it cost. A/C is not cold enough during day time given the roof itself is kind of hot because of the sunlight so there is nothing to complain. 3. Security - The place is quiet like mentioned above, so not much of external interference from others, the island itself isn't a heavily populated so I see no human threat during the whole stay. One thing to be note, other than room service, staff will come into the room and turn off your A/C if you're not in the room which means there are no security protocol when the staff can access your room while you are not present in the room, not a good thing. 4. Facility - Swimming pool is not bad; Restaurant, the most used place for many, not bad, food are fair while prices are sort of fairly high but what are you look for while you are in the island, so I'll give a "good" to it. 5. Staff - It's really hard to say about this, I found one staff that can speak English who is very professional and thoughtful, but the rest... mostly trainer level but can't categorised as bad, I'm scoring 4 out of 5. One thing to be note, the manager of the resort tho (or the boss, I don't really know). She supervise operation in the restaurant area almost the entire day, you will see her challenging work of her staff members all day long, and basically everyday which ruin the atmosphere, I have no problem people managing their business but in wide public all the time which crucially affecting her guests, that's not often be found even when I'm a 4-5 times traveler a month. 6. The beach - clean water during the morning, a lot of rocks underneath so you better equip yourselves before diving in. It's not a bad thing just be prepared and if you do, you'll find very enjoyable swimming in the Resort's beach. Final funny event happened during the stay, don't judge me if you're not an animal person, There is a lovely little girl dog living in the resort who isn't exactly living there but sheltering, we fed her everyday during our 5 days stay, she is very easy trusted on people and she sleep in front of my door one night. However there was a staff cast her away the other day, she waited at the edge of the resort the whole next day wanting to go back, we found her and gave her water and food. Fortunately, one of the very thoughtful staff helping to allow her back in and she can have her little sleeping area back. Should you see her when you're there, please help her with just the basics like water and food. Over all, I will go back on our next Koh Mak stay for sure because of the thoughtful staff and the little girl while the resort itself is not terrible and cost under this level is a fair deal. And I would also recommend people to go there is you are after quiet retreat. ”

“Die Bungalows sind ruhig, sauber und sehr schön, auch wenn einem schon das ein oder andere Tierchen (vor allem im Badezimmer) begegnen kann. Die Matratzen waren sehr gemütlich 😊 Durch die Klimaanlage war der Aufenthalt im Bungalow sehr angenehm. Der Strand ist sauber. Es gibt viele Sitzmöglichkeiten am Strand. Wie überall beschrieben gibt es leider sehr viele Sandfliegen, wofür das Hotel allerdings nichts kann. Das Hotel verleiht Roller, Club Cars, Kajaks, SUP zu einem fairen Preis. Die Lage ist optimal für den Besuch verschiedener Strände. ”

“Quiet and relaxing place to stay. Staff were helpful. The room was quite spacious. We enjoyed the free kayak. Breakfast wasn’t too bad. The only thing I’d say is the daily housekeeping. When we arrived we didn’t have soap and shampoo so we had to ask. We didn’t know how the housekeeping worked until the check-out day cause it wasn’t explained thus our room was never cleaned and we always ended up brushing it off as already tired when we came back to the room. We assumed that when you wanted your rooms cleaned, you leave your room’s keys in the box at reception but this practice isn’t very common I believe. Would be better to have it explained during check-in or just have the normal housekeeping where guests can leave the sign on the door and hotel has spare keys.”

“Il faut louer un scooter car un peu loin du centre de l’île. Très joli lieu et bungalow très mignon avec le calme assuré. Le jardin et la piscine sont un plus. ”
