“There's clearly a large difference between the people with a room facing the river and having some nice view and all the other rooms with no windows and no ventilation. I had an interior room, which was also quite pricey, and it was like sleeping in a shipping container. There was no ventilation, and only a grate between the bathroom and the hallway. So everyone in the hallway could hear my bathroom activity, and I could hear (and see to some extent) them out there. The hotel rumbles from the train often, as it's right on the platform. That may or may not be wanted. The staff was really helpful and spoke English well. I think it might be a converted office building.”
