“Left Te Kaha that morning and continued around East Cape to Gisborne, back to Opotiki through the gorge and then on to Ohope Beach where on the day before southbound heading to Te Kaha we were blown away by the view. At the end of a long and interesting drive, to be able to walk across the road into some suf for a play it was very relaxing. A quick shower after and up to the village for a great meal at the Mexican themed spot and a very nice meal was had. Coffee the next morning again from the village was very gratefully received and left the sun and surf behind for the drive back to Auckland.....”
