“We stayed at The Nest for 3 days and 2 nights and overall had a very comfortable stay. The room is chalet-style with an attached bathroom. It was clean when we arrived, with clean bedsheets, comfortable pillows, functioning air-conditioning and fan, and a small freezer. The bathroom was also well equipped with shower cream and shampoo, a working water heater, and good water pressure. One thing I really liked is that the property still feels quite new. Some of the chalets and parts of the walkway are still being completed, but for us this was actually reassuring because the room itself felt fresh, clean and well maintained. I also loved that the window could be opened to let in the ocean breeze. The beach is very close and easily accessible on foot, which made the stay feel very relaxing. The owner was very friendly and kind, and he even provided us with a food directory which was very helpful. There are also several warung around the area, so you can enjoy a morning stroll and easily find somewhere nearby for breakfast or local food. There is also a seafood restaurant within walking distance. Overall, The Nest is a simple, clean and comfortable place to stay in Cherating. I especially liked that the room felt new and fresh, the beach was nearby, and the owner was genuinely welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back again”

“Overall okay. Water pressure maybe a bit low cuma masih acceptable. Boleh perbaiki lagi. Dari segi cleanliness rumah tersedia rapi cuma perlu tambah baik certain part seperti habuk di rak rak di dalam rumah. Swimming pool ok, bersih. Tak berbau clorin yg terlalu kuat, selesa untuk anak2 mandi. Takde isu gatal2 kulit lepas mandi. Kelengkapan masak, pinggan sudu garfu, stove, microwave, Cuckoo water dispenser all good. Overall puas hati. Kami rate 8/10. ”

“Pros:Fantastic Location: Right next to a luxury hotel and an easy 5 to 10-minute walk to the beach.Great Local Food: Lots of local food options nearby that are delicious and reasonably priced.Well-Maintained: The hotel is older, but they do a great job keeping the rooms clean and well-maintained.Kid-Friendly Pool: The swimming pool is excellent and easy for children to play in.Stress-Free Parking: Plenty of parking space, so you never have to worry about finding a spot.Good Environment: Pleasant and nice atmosphere overall.Cons:Thin Walls: If you get a connecting room, you can easily hear the sound from next door.”

“very clean, the staff is super helpful and the room is near the beach, walking distance only. it's easy to go around the shop also”

“Owner bagus sangat bertimbang rasa.minta check in awal pun on je.kelengkapan peralatan dapur dan yg paling suka ada mesin wash+ dryer.”

“Our stay was brief, but during it my children thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the (very) private attached pool. It was clean and the kitchen was incredible. Perfect for families who prefer dining in. ”

“Nice place to stay here,,very recommended for family's”

“The host was quite responsive and the check-in process was pretty straightforward. However, our impression was that the house did not seem to be properly prepared for guests. Upon arrival, there was a significant amount of dried leaves and dried grass accumulated in the car porch area, suggesting that the space had not been cleaned prior to our check-in. Also, in one of the rooms, the bedsheet had visible stains. In the very same room, particularly near the window area, there were numerous dead ants/unknown insects on the floor. Also, all three blankets provided were covered in loose fur that kept shedding, making it uncomfortable to use. The above further reinforcing the impression that general upkeep and attention to detail were lacking. As a result, this made it difficult for us to feel welcomed or at ease during our stay. Another important point to highlight is that there was no water heater available in both bathrooms, even it was alright for us, but this may be inconvenient for any future guests expecting this facility. We hope the host will take these comments constructively and improve the cleanliness and maintenance of the property. With better preparation and attention to detail, this place has the potential to offer a much more comfortable and pleasant experience for future guests.”
