“El hotel estuvo excelente, muy cerca del adoquín, el servicio de staff siempre muy amable, el cuarto súper bonito, mucha vegetación alrededor de las habitaciones, lo que lo hace sentirte en un ambiente selvático. Muy recomendable, sin duda me vuelvo a quedar ahí. ”

“Zipolite was such a great and fun trip. Would def come back to this city, only thing I would do differently is ensure I don’t stay at here at Hotel Playa Zipolite. They were unaccomodating and essentially robbing me of money every chance they got. First off the pool and hot tub were being renovated during our stay and of course it was not noted anywhere on the site that the main amenities were unusable. We got a stain on our sheets, instead of washing them, they just kept the sheets under our night stand and then proceeded to tell me that I owed them 1000 pesos to replace them… although a simple wash would have got the stain out. We had friends stop over before we went out to lunch for literally 10-15 mins and they proceeded to tell me that I had to pay 200 pesos per guest to be in our room. Mind you they were not staying overnight or sleeping. We were just hanging out in our room, making a game plan for the day before lunch. Truly extortion. If you do happen to stay there, make sure you get a room as far away as possible from the reception or they will take advantage of you, since they are right close to you. We unfortunately were right across the from the reception. Thankfully my friends hotel, Naked Hotel, were very accommodating and allowed us to hang out with our friends and use their amenities even though we weren’t staying there. Will def stay at Naked my next trip. A bit pricier but we’ll worth it and they staff there were incredibly nice.”

“The hotel's location and staff are excellent. The hotel is dated and could use some updating for sure but overall a good value.”

“The description on Agoda was not correct at all. Said that each room had ac but we had to pay 100 pesos extra for the remote control per night. Weird atmosphere in the place. Huge cockroach in the room, full of other insects and dirty with mold and dust on the ceiling and walls. Dirty bedding and everything you have had out in the room smells like mothballs. Yes we got towels and bedding but the question is when they were last washed. Can't understand how this place has got such high scores. Choose something else! Not worth your money at all.”
