“In some ways, this is a great hotel. Given that my Spanish is almost non-existent, being able to communicate with staff was hit-and-miss. The ones who spoke English, spoke it well. Those who didn’t, well that’s on me for not speaking Spanish. Pros: My room was nice and clean. The restaurant food was excellent - one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Dessert was fantastic. Proximity to the marina & local establishments was also really good. Cons: Air conditioning was very noisy. The wedding reception on the floor directly above me was even noisier. And the view out of my room window? How I love looking at condemned buildings and piles of concrete rubble and trash! That’s it. Nice & clean hotel, but it ain’t no beach resort.”

“While it was one of the cheaper options in the area, it still wasn’t exactly cheap—and the experience didn’t justify the price at all. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful from the start, which already set a poor tone. The room itself had a persistent foul smell that never went away, no matter what I did. On top of that, there seemed to be little to no security. The environment felt chaotic, with constant partying happening around the property. There’s a club right next door, and the noise at night is intense—the walls literally vibrate from the music. Even beyond that, guests play their own music at full volume without any consideration for others, making it nearly impossible to rest. The worst part was being woken up at 4 a.m. by a drunk man knocking on my door. There was no visible security or staff intervention, which made the situation feel unsafe. Overall, this place is simply not worth it. I strongly recommend paying a bit more for somewhere that offers basic comfort, respect, and security.”
