“A lovely place to stop for a night on our way south from Loreto. Puerto Escondido is just a short walk away and worth the visit. Lovely room, overlooking the pool from our very private balcony. Good breakfast included. Highly recommended!”

A refreshing pool with an adjacent bar keeps you hydrated and cool during the blistering months… A lovely restaurant on the second floor will cook your catch if you go fishing! Delightful staff at every turn to assist you in scheduling activities or indulge at the on site spa for an amazing massage! We simply loved our stay and loved this small town! What a treat! ”

“The Posada is a lovely hotel, and the people who work there are impeccably pleasant and helpful. The bed was very comfortable, bottled water was supplied, and there is a mini fridge. The coffee maker had an old, used filter full of coffee left in it. The shower drain did not drain well; there was a pool of water as I showered. Breakfast was on a patio outside our rooms, we were on the ground floor. There was a rotten moldy strawberry in my fruit cup. The hotel charges boutique hotel prices but IMO it isn't quite there yet. I did not sleep well because the hotel is conveniently located two blocks from the town plaza and church, which has a bell tower that rings every 15 minutes, all night long - I was so surprised by this - , with a special 30 second piece of Bach's "Jesu, Joy of Man's.." at 6:30 am. Even after I put in my ear plugs, I heard that clearly. Yet, my friend who was in the room next me slept through it all!”

“Food was really good in the restaurants , but the pool side food and the room service wasn't too good. The chicken sandwich, pool side, was not cooked through, and the shrimp cocktail wasn't fresh at room service. Very shallow bay in front of hotel. Need to book a expensive tour if you want to snorkel. A great spot if you want to do absolutely nothing but a good rest.The resort itself is beautiful. Staff is good. Food is only really good in the restaurants. The couple at the pool , beside us, returned thier Buffalo wings, because it wasn't cooked, chicken raw, again. ”

“Basic and inexpensive. I'd stay here again. I think there's some confusion about the location. If you have trouble, just head north on the main highway. It's on the left just as you leave town.”
