“Muhamed a retired Sherpa and his two sons hamed and hoissain were the perfect hosts welcoming me into their home with tea. They were all very friendly, helpful and informative cooking delicious food throughout my stay. If you are looking for authentic rural life in the mountains then I highly recommend you stay here with this beautiful family. It doesn’t get any more rural than this and the view from the guest house was just breathtaking. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed at. “My wife & I stayed 7-nights in late November & couldn't compliment all those involved in making our stay a pure joy. Cozy rooms and fabulous views. The location could not be better because a taxi can get you out of the mess that is Imlil town, away from the traffic, and into your 2nd home right in the mountains. (Some other riads outside the town and nestled in the mountains are only accessible with a long uphill jaunt. Truth be told it's about a 5 minute walk on a dirt/stone road to get to RA4S, but it is oh so worth it. Several trailheads can be had right from the RA4S. And did I mention the food? It was the best we had in our month in Morocco!”

Home made fresh food, copious amounts of mint tea, evening music and laughing with the kids...bringing back memories of my childhood. “Omar was actually really great and nice person! Advice, when you go here text Omar in WhatsApp. That's the best way to get a hold of him. He does speak English so communicating was easy. Ask him about the trek to Mt Toubkal. I will be back to do that. The only downfall is, it is a little far from the Imlil city center, about 20 min from it. But if you like the quite ans serene neighborhood and don't mind the 20 min walk you will have a great time! His Riad is up and coming, looking forward to what's next here. Thank you Omar. Will definitely be back again, next time to go trekking. ”

“stayed one night here to climb mount toubkal the next day. the host was so wonderful and friendly! prior to the day of check-in, he had reached out to me to check with me if im climbing mount toubkal and provided some helpful tips as well as helping me to arrange for a mountain guide. and I'm only staying 1 night, but im climb mount toubkal for 2 days 1 night after my stay here. the host had kindly offered to let my rental car parked in his place after my stay for another night. after returning back from mount toubkal, i asked if i could have hot shower before leaving imlil and he kindly facilitated as well as providing me with towels. great hospitality from the host. wonderful stay in imlil 😁”

“The location is not too far from downtown. Only 10 mn walk. The rooms are clean. There are enough covers. The beds are good. There is a wonderful big balcony overcoming a magnificent view of the top of the mountain. The staff were so kind, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was a display of local people authenticity and hospitality, it was a traditional Moroccan breakfast with oil, honey, butter, cheese, eggs, tea and local bread. I highly recommend this place. Believe me you won't forget the splendid view from the balcony.”
