“The owner of these Resort is bad, he & his wife first lt said its pet friendly. We have 3 dogs, one of our mini poodle just greeting him then he hit our dog with the bottle then our dog bite his leg but only a little scratch and asking for money around $125 if not pay he call the police . Even we booked 7 people for famili room then they extra charges us 3 people for $30 due to the room he said only available for 2 people each room. We booked 2 rooms any way. Then he extra charges us the accomodation just because we not using his ferry(at the description none of the clause that said if we book should using his ferry to the port). Even when we pay the extra charges they give us only thin topper for the massages as extra bed & didn’t provide the extra towel or amenities. Not recommend for foreigner, these guys like scamming and using people only for money. The view also not like the exact as the description. If there is even 10 start to review this scam hotel, im not even giving even one star 😂. Not very recommended 👍🏻”

“I tried hard to find flaw with this place. Sadly I didn’t succeed….. Superbly and comfortably designed with multiple levels of seating areas at pool and restaurant, which ensure that pretty much everyone can have an unobstructed sea-view experience at any time The food is not like any other island dining experience I’ve ever had, which on the whole in most places are missable at best. The meals here were consistently terrific, with a varied, generous and delicious menu. Off-menu items also conjured up with a smile. My wife is Cambodian- “Oh sure, I ask chef if he can do…yes, he say no problem.” The western and local staff are sincere, helpful and friendly, laid back but always available. The cottages themselves are basic and a bit worn for wear, but more than fine for what they are. Only complaint I made as we left was the extreme firmness of the mattress, to which I was told; “Oh hell, wish you had mentioned earlier. Could have put a topper or three on it for you. Whatever you need to make it comfortable. Lovely response. The pool was clean, with plenty of loungers, cabanas, and a tiki bar. The beachfront is kept clean and trash free, and the transport in , out and around is arranged flawlessly. ”

“Agoda advertises this hotel as a 4*. I’ve since learned that most other site have it as a 3* which makes more sense.. the good - staff and pool fantastic The bad - bathroom - only provides 2 stained old towels - no hand towels/ face cloths etc. No hand soap at sink. Luke warm water only in mornings cold otherwise (beach resort - not ideal) No where to hang your things to dry - what you wet will stay wet. Poor porch design means they flood after rains. Rooms are very tired. Safes don’t work. If you don’t give reception your room key your room won’t get cleaned. (And to lock rooms is an ordeal as locks are old and poor condition) Pool is nice but the tiles around the pool and bar are very dangerous. Wet feel will slip easily - I almost fell and my son went down hard and only missed splitting his head by a cm. Breakfast isn’t bad but no fly control. There is also (paused?)construction work going on around the resort meaning that it isn’t nearly as pretty as we expected. The hotel is in a pretty part of the bay but isolated. It’s a 20 minute walk to get to next set of restaurants- in humid temps that’s tough enough. Although you can rent a lift on a tractor for 15$ each way - seriously expensive. We booked 4 nights and stayed 2. That was enough ”

“You really feel like Robinson on this little paradise island. Rooms are clean although hot at night, personnel sympa and food is great! Highly recommended if you want to disconnect from the outside world”
