Agoda advertises this hotel as a 4*. I’ve since learned that most other site have it as a 3* which makes more sense.. the good - staff and pool fantastic The bad - bathroom - only provides 2 stained old towels - no hand towels/ face cloths etc. No hand soap at sink. Luke warm water only in mornings cold otherwise (beach resort - not ideal) No where to hang your things to dry - what you wet will stay wet. Poor porch design means they flood after rains. Rooms are very tired. Safes don’t work. If you don’t give reception your room key your room won’t get cleaned. (And to lock rooms is an ordeal as locks are old and poor condition) Pool is nice but the tiles around the pool and bar are very dangerous. Wet feel will slip easily - I almost fell and my son went down hard and only missed splitting his head by a cm. Breakfast isn’t bad but no fly control. There is also (paused?)construction work going on around the resort meaning that it isn’t nearly as pretty as we expected. The hotel is in a pretty part of the bay but isolated. It’s a 20 minute walk to get to next set of restaurants- in humid temps that’s tough enough. Although you can rent a lift on a tractor for 15$ each way - seriously expensive. We booked 4 nights and stayed 2. That was enough

My gf and I spent 5 nights at this hotel. Honestly, nice place, nice rooms, great location, along the cleanest and quietest stretch of the beach. But still quite a few details which dent quite a bit the value for money: - Internet was very bad in the room; it kept breaking. The staff said it was because of the weather... whereas the wifi from the restaurant next door, which we ended up using, was very good. - rooms are nice, but the bathrooms should be refreshed a bit; the towels and the bedsheets had pretty large and obvious stains. - staff was reasonably friendly, but not amazingly nice either; they are very little reactive to the Telegram messages we sent. - the common areas (reception, restaurant) are a bit bland, with just chairs and tiles; there's nowhere really nice, comfortable and cozy to sit, and no airconed area anywhere. Overall, nice stay, and it was not a bad experience, but I think the team can do better

This was our third stay at this hotel, and it continues to be one of our favorite places. We love its convenient location—right across from the beach and close to everything we need. The staff are always warm, friendly, and accommodating. We were also happy to see the new upgrades, including a pool and a bar, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again!

Spent wonderful time here. If you want to plug off the grid - one of the best places I visited.

This hotel is the only low rise place on the beach in a sea of high rise and ongoing construction. It's set in enormous grounds with a pristine beach. There's not much around the hotel apert from development but the hotel provide a free shuttle into the city centre. We had food in one of the hotel restaurants and was really good. The staff are incredibly helpful and polite. Definitely enjoyed our two night stay after some very basic accommodation on a couple of the islands.
