“I came here in the summer and the mountains and surroundings are beautiful! There are two lakes nearby that you can SUP, swim and canoe in that are beautiful. You can also walk around the lakes for some great great views. Sai is an amazing host and she picks you up and can drop you off at the station since it's a little of a far walk away from the guest house. The amenities are great and the room is very clean and comfortable. 10/10 recommend this place! ”

“There aren’t many reviews here, but it’s definitely on par with other traditional upscale onsen hotels we have experienced. The hotel only has five guest rooms, but all of the rooms have private onsens, which is the main reason we chose it. The room was big, and I’m pretty sure all rooms have a garden view. The onsen is indoors, but the windows can be fully opened, so the choice is yours. The entire building is definitely older than it looks, but it is well maintained, and all guest rooms are newly renovated, which is a plus. We didn’t order any meals except breakfast on the last day, but you can still find some restaurants nearby within walking distance. And of course, the rooms are sparkling clean, and the service is great if you know how to ask. Speaking of downsides, the location is a bit far from the closest train station, but we drove, so it was not a problem for us. The separate toilet is a bit cold because there is no direct heating.”
