“古民家を活かした一棟貸切の宿で、家族や大人数での滞在にとてもおすすめです。 とても広々としていて、子連れでもゆったり過ごすことができました。日光や奥日光へのアクセスも良く、観光の拠点として便利です。全部屋にエアコンがあり、暑い時期でも快適に過ごせました。 洗濯機だけでなくガス乾燥機もあるので、子連れ旅行にはとても助かりました。外国人の方にとっては、日本の伝統的な古民家で暮らすような体験ができる点も魅力だと思います。 一方で、改善されるとさらに素晴らしい宿になると思う点もありました。室内に少しカビのような匂いがあり、テラスや庭ももう少し草刈りや清掃がされていると、より気持ちよく過ごせると思います。 また、せっかくキッチンがあるので、塩・こしょう・油など最低限の調味料があると便利です。滞在中はテレビが見られなかった点も少し残念でした。 館内の案内や表示がほぼ英語だったため、日本人旅行者には少し分かりにくい部分もありました。外国人旅行者を意識した宿なのかもしれませんが、日本語の案内もあるとより親切だと思います。 全体的には、広い空間で日本の古民家暮らしを体験できる、個性的で魅力のある宿でした。特に家族旅行やグループ旅行におすすめです。 This is a spacious private traditional Japanese house, and I highly recommend it for families with children or larger groups. The house is very spacious, so we were able to relax and enjoy our stay comfortably. It is also conveniently located for visiting both Nikko and Oku-Nikko. Every room has air conditioning, which was very helpful during the summer. Having both a washing machine and a gas dryer was a great advantage, especially when traveling with children. For international visitors, staying in this traditional Japanese house is also a wonderful opportunity to experience a more authentic Japanese lifestyle. There are a few things that could be improved. There was a slight musty smell inside the house, and the terrace and garden could benefit from more regular cleaning and trimming of the grass. Since there is a kitchen, it would also be helpful to provide some basic seasonings such as salt, pepper, and cooking oil. Unfortunately, we were also unable to watch TV during our stay. Most of the signs and information inside the house were written only in English. This may be convenient for international guests, but having Japanese instructions as well would make the accommodation easier for Japanese guests to use. Overall, we enjoyed staying in this unique traditional Japanese house. It is especially suitable for families and groups who want a spacious place to stay and experience a traditional Japanese atmosphere. ”

“You will need to drive if you want to get to this pension. I think this is the only challenge you might have. But once you have a car, this pension is a truely heaven for you. The place offers dinner and breakfast with excellent quality, which we think it was the best meal ever in a week trip. While we enjoyed the bath, we could open the window and enjoy the nature and cold air. The room is big enough and clean. The environment is beautiful, I love all the decoration in the pension. I could feel the owner’s love and care for the place and people staying at their pension. This is a must visit place if you go Nikko. I hope I can visit again. :)”
