I later found the property had emailed me earlier that daywith the same instructions, but I hadn't been checking my emails as I'd been travelling. Furthermore, these instructions were solely in Italian too. I imagine the vast majority of guests here are Italian, but still, at the point of booking it would have been clear that we were international visitors, and the property should have made provisions for our arrival.”
