“I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ponmari Residency in Ooty, and it was truly a delightful experience. From its strategic location to the warm hospitality. Location: Ponmari Residency boasts a prime location that adds immense value to the overall stay. Situated conveniently close to both the botanical garden and the main market. Staff Hospitality: The staff at Ponmari Residency redefine hospitality with their genuine warmth and friendliness. From the moment I stepped into the hotel until the time of departure, every staff member went out of their way to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Restaurant: The hotel has its own Restaurant Facility and the food preparation is good. ”

“1. Good location just walking distance from all the major restaurants. 2. Old British heritage feel rooms although a bit small, with wooden floors and furniture. Bathroom was newly renovated and well equipped. 3. Bed / linen was soft and comfortable. 4. Room rate included breakfast starts 8.30amd the spread is only South Indian dishes with tea / coffee, suggestion to include bread / toast and fruits / juices. 5. Acitivites for kids were board games / badminton. We had to miss our room rate paid breakfast on the 3rd day since we had to leave early. We asked for only 2 coffees for which we were charged extra which I think is not good hospitality on the part of the hotel / management. Apart from it - would recommend it for the heritage living experience.”

“Good and decent hotel to stay near Botanical garden ”

“I had a very disappointing experience staying at Oriental Grand, Ooty. I booked a luxury room, but unfortunately, the room was not properly maintained. The toilet was not clean, the bed was very old, and the bed sheets were also not in good condition. Overall, the cleanliness and maintenance were far below what I expected from a luxury room. There is also no proper parking facility, which was very inconvenient. Considering the amount I paid, I feel the stay was not worth the money at all. Very poor experience, and I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves the cleanliness, maintenance, and facilities.”

“We are very much glad to recommend to everyone about the facilities provided by them. The room was very clean and neatly maintained. The restaurant was very good and provided nice food.”
